Malcolm C. Burton, Architect, LLC was formed in 2007 by the managing member, Malcolm C. Burton's professional experience includes the design of over one hundred residential additions, alterations, and new custom homes.  Burton's commercial design experience includes fire stations, public schools, private day care centers, office buildings, apartment buildings, beauty salons, restaurants, manufacturing plants, minimum security prisons, forest work camps, warehouse buildings, airplane hangars, community centers, churches, mausoleums, and fire escapes, to name a few.   For a complete list of project experience, please click on this link to Burton's
resume.

All of Burton's projects are approached individually.  Design solutions are a synthesis of the client's needs and desires, budget, code requirements, and engineering principles.

A typical project will begin with a preliminary phase. During this phase,  Burton will gather information from the client and the project site to create concept drawings. These drawings are then reviewed with the client and adjusted as required to meet the client's wishes. After the client's approval of the preliminary drawings, detailed construction documents are created. These drawings are used for bidding, building permit application and construction by your general contactor.

Other professional services are available, including bidding services, shop drawing review, and review of payment applications.  Burton also has a network of special consultants that can be brought to the project team as required.

We are committed to thoughtful and creative design solutions with professional service.  Call for an appointment today.      (609) 607-1659

Sincerely,

Malcolm C. Burton, AIA NCARB
