Malcolm C. Burton
Malcolm C. Burton, Architect, LLC was formed in 2007. Malcolm’s firm is licensed to provide architectural services in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is a registered architect in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and Oregon.
Malcolm has over 30 years of architectural experience. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon in 1993 and subsequently completed the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Intern Development Program (IDP) in 1996. Malcolm received his initial architectural registration through examination in the State of Oregon in 1999. He continues to maintain his record with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) for reciprocity. He has been a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) since 1994 and is past president of AIA Jersey Shore. Malcolm’s highest honor was being recognized by his peers and receiving the AIA Jersey Shore Architect of the Year Service Award in 2021.
Malcolm spent his childhood summers growing up on Long Beach Island and he has been a resident of Manahawkin, NJ since 2003 where he raised his two children. In his free time, Malcolm volunteers as an assistant scoutmaster with a local scout troop often supporting them to design and build service projects that improve the community. He also frequently travels domestically and abroad with his wife, Linda.
